Made as a companion to the plywood bowl the vase represents the tall and slender (feminine) opposed to the short and fat (masculine) bowl.

It was made by first boring a one inch diameter hole in each of the ¾" laminations. The pieces were glued together around a removable core. When that dried the core was removed and two caps were glued to the ends. After turning the form I cut the top off and treated the mouth by hand.

It is finished with 6 layers of Minwax wipe on poly glossy. And a final coat of Minway wipe on poly satin.
