This is the second bowl I have turned. I like the contrast of the light maple and the dark walnut. I oriented the grain of the maple so as to create a continuous line in the shape of a sine curve. It is a nice subtle addition to the figure of the bowl.

Dimensions:

The bowl is five inches in diameter standing four inches tall. The side walls are a quarter of an inch thick.
