We would certainly recommend going on a weekday. We took the girls along with the Wehe family (Ava's long time friend, Jadie Ruth born 2 weeks prior) to the NC Zoo yesterday and had a blast. It wasn't too hot or too crowded. The shade had a nice refreshing breeze for when the walk did get too hot. The TRAM certainly helped as well. Ava said her favorites were the gorillas. Addie seemed to like the sea lions the best. I liked the elephant. I'll post a couple pics here. There's a lot more posted on Facebook (if you have an acct).
